Responsibilities
Identify and secure new advertising opportunities to grow the client base within your assigned state editions.
Conduct proactive outreach (email, LinkedIn, phone) to set meetings.
Lead sales calls and presentations to effectively communicate the value propositions of each newsletter to prospective clients.
Oversee insertion orders and scheduling to ensure the timely deployment of all sponsorships in your territory.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients through consistent communication and support.
Target diverse industries and organizations within your territory for newsletter sponsorships.
Stay informed on the media advertising landscape in your area to find new leads.
Collaborate with sales operations and state writers to ensure high quality editions.

Required
1–3 years of experience in sales or related field.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong business acumen and organizational abilities.
Proficiency with CRM software.
Demonstrated negotiation skills.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, advertising, media, or a related field.
Strong plus if you have local advertising sales experience
