Responsibilities
Define the test automation strategy and framework based on industry best practices.
Execute automation strategy, define and manage automation metrics, and drive process improvements.
Provide technical leadership, direction, and hands-on assistance to team members.
Mentor other QA professionals in test automation best practices.
Design and implement advanced testing practices and tools.
Evaluate, recommend, and implement enterprise-wide standards and process guidelines for automation.
Identify opportunities to automate remediation of recurring issues.
Establish policies and procedures for test automation roles and responsibilities.
Responsible for administration of test tools and integrations.
Ensure test scripts are documented, reported, and tracked appropriately.
Assist in defining measurable testing metrics and build automated reporting.
Evaluate emerging test design/strategies/practices for automation opportunities.

Required
Strong competency in test automation including unit, integration, regression, and smoke tests.
At least 5 years of enterprise experience in test automation with a minimum of 2 years as a Lead Engineer/SME who can provide guidance and mentor team members.
Strong hands-on experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks.
Strong hands-on experience in automation test tools (Selenium, Playwright) and API Testing.
Experience moving from manual testing to automation environment.
Exposure to performance testing tools.
Experience with Quality tools (JIRA).
At least 1 year of experience with AWS Cloud environments for software development and deployment.
Eligible to be granted a public trust with the US Government.
Preferred
Possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
