Responsibilities

Establish and enact test plans for product components and subcomponents and power transmission subassemblies.

Perform and analyze basic and advanced testing and analysis to support design and development objectives.

Provide hands-on support through preparation and execution of test programs and test set-up.

Write and develop LabVIEW programs for test automation and monitoring.

Assist in the maintenance and improvement of the lab and its capabilities.

Required

Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical), Engineering Technology, or related discipline.

Five to seven years of experience designing or developing electro-mechanical systems

Minimum of two years of experience in testing and test evaluation in a manufacturing or test facility environment.

Experience with LabView for both data acquisition and control applications.

Preferred

Experience working with reciprocating diesel engines and gas turbine engines and engine control

Ability to understand complex engineering principles / situations / problems

Strong oral and written communication skills

Experience with AC and DC motors, drives, and complex test arrangements

Experience working with precision data transducers for both mechanical and electrical signal data acquisition.
