Responsibilities

Define and evaluate data collection tools to support the organization's data collection objectives
Maintain the data collection infrastructure including databases and integration pipeline, to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance
Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize the tools and infrastructure and support data collection at scale
Monitor and troubleshoot data collection systems, resolving issues and implementing preventive measures to minimize disruptions
Develop and maintain documentation, guidelines, and best practices in data collection tools and infrastructure
Define and deploy the data collection tools and infrastructure into the operational sites
Collaborate with cross-functional team, including data analysts, software developers, and system administrators to integrate data collection system with downstream processes and applications

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field
Proven experience in designing and maintaining data collection tools and infrastructures
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java or JavaScript
Strong knowledge of database management systems and data modeling concepts
Familiar with cloud platform such as AWS, Google cloud or Microsoft Azure
Excellent problem solving skills with an ability to troubleshoot complex issues in data collection pipelines
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross functional team environment
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices for data security and compliance
