Responsibilities
Direct the activities of the Injection Mold Tooling department
Lead and motivate Injection Molding Tooling Technicians and Tooling setup personnel
Responsible for preventative maintenance, repair, and upkeep of injection molding tools
Competitive benefits and possible overtime available
Recruit, interview, and hire tooling technicians as needed
Manage all tool planned preventative maintenance
Oversee design and fabrication of tooling needed for production
Utilize customer CAD/data for tooling designs and evaluations
Coordinate with scheduling to pull and set tools for PMs, job changes, repairs
Investigate and implement methods to improve efficiencies in tool cleanings and repairs techniques
Adhere to safety and health rules and regulations

Ability to work under pressure with changing priorities
Physical demands include occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs and use of a respirator
Work environment includes office area with low noise level and machine shop floor with moderate to high noise level and hazards.
