Responsibilities

Support the maintenance and enhancement of Diageo's Trade Compliance for North America, including operational processes, customs valuation, product classification, PGA compliance, government reporting, and internal audits.

Ensure compliance with laws governing international trade and carry out Customs & Trade laws, policies, and standard methodologies.

Support import compliance processes for finished goods, bulk goods, raw materials, and packaging materials by executing day-to-day tasks and projects in compliance with regulations.

Engage with various stakeholders to ensure efficiency and compliance throughout operations, establish working relationships, and work independently and proactively.

Identify best practices, establish standards, provide technical support, assure compliance through auditing, establish and report Key Performance Metrics, and handle import procedures in compliance with trade regulations.

Build user capabilities, provide training, and implement tools to enable efficient and compliant international shipments and customs filings.

Required

Licensed Customs Broker or Certified Customs Specialist preferred.

Ideal candidate would be detail-oriented, self-starter, well versed in US and Canadian Customs regulations and requirements, have an in-depth understanding of supply chain process flows.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Strong knowledge of SAP is desirable.

Required Experiences - Ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in import/customs/trade compliance.
