Responsibilities

Execute trade compliance procedures and policies across the company; provide support to cross functional organizations.
Experience with US and Canada import regulations and requirements of northern border clearances. Experience with duty drawback (same condition) preferred.
Classification and maintenance of HTS codes for all products for the US and Canada for a diverse range of products.
Knowledge of testing, packaging and language requirements for consumer goods in US and Canada.
Work with screening tools and processes to assure due diligence and define PGA (Partner Government Agency) requirements and indicators on products. PGAs include the APHIS, CPSC, EPA, FCC, FDA, and USDA.
Work with company utilities to assure accuracy of trade compliance data elements.
Perform broker audits and assure recordkeeping requirements are in accordance with US import regulations.
Familiarity with international transportation documentation requirements.
Be additive to our culture of challenging the status quo and having a low ego.
