Responsibilities

Perform and/or oversee Traffic Engineering Studies and Designs including traffic signal design, transportation engineering studies, and traffic planning studies.

Write and review traffic impact studies and analysis reports.

Work with multi-disciplinary teams and provide traffic inputs for environmental studies and roadway design elements.

Coordinate with DOT and local agencies.

Assist in public information meetings.

Support the preparation of technical proposals and business development activities.

Required

BSCE degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience

PE License in NJ and PA, or the ability to obtain a license within 6 months is preferred

Thorough understanding of HCS, VISSIM, Synchro/Sim Traffic software is required

Experience related to traffic safety (vehicle, pedestrian, and bicycle), roadside/intersection safety, crash data analysis and development of crash countermeasures

Successful experience meeting scope, schedules, and budgets on transportation projects/studies

Good oral and communication skills

Must be able to fulfill essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner
