Responsibilities

Develop plans and specifications, and estimates for traffic signals, ITS equipment, and illumination

Supervise Project Engineers, EITs, and CAD technicians

Schedule work for all team members

Mentor younger staff

Report to the business group director and work closely with all project disciplines

Manage project design schedules, budgets, and scope

Responsible for project quality control

Involved with planning, design, and construction phases of projects

Coordinate with the client and be responsible for meeting client schedules and budgets

Coordinate with local office and firm management to set, manage, and achieve specific office and firm goals

Assist and sometimes lead business development efforts to identify, pursue, and win new work for the office and firm as a whole

Provide engineering services for traffic engineering areas such as Preparation of PS&E, ITS planning and design, Intersection design and analysis
