Responsibilities

Maintaining awareness of cybersecurity threats, techniques, challenges, personnel recovery and investigative procedures.
Serving as a United States Secret Service subject matter expert in the areas of protection, investigations, and personnel recovery to present training content to foreign partners and USSS employees at formal training courses, seminars, and ad-hoc briefings.
Serving as project manager for staff/contractor actions and overseeing pilot projects to demonstrate efficiency and effectiveness of training programs.
Researching new and applicable technology and equipment for the PR Program.

Required

Be a U.S. citizen
Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
Obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Tier 5 clearance.
Submit to a drug test prior to your appointment and random drug testing while you occupy the position.
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level performing duties such as mentoring, leading, or training others in the areas of criminal investigations, protection or personnel recovery.
Overseeing the management or guidance of a criminal investigation, a protective advance team, or personnel recovery mission, to include the allocation of funds or recommended use of manpower required to carry out specific task.
Developing, implementing, or monitoring creative methods to assist others in learning how to conduct a criminal investigation, complete a protective advance carryout a personnel recovery mission, or meet other designated training needs.

Full annuity and full Federal salary.
Annual and sick leave (not applicable for an intermittent work schedule)
Full-time, part-time, or intermittent work schedules.
Receive overtime (on a full schedule). Overtime hours are counted towards maximum hour limitations.
