Responsibilities

Receive daily translation/localization requests from internal team and stakeholders.

Create and manage translation projects in the Amazon Translation Management System (ATMS) by outsourcing to vendors.

Coordinate and communicate project delivery timelines based on project volumes, and translation/review process needs.

Troubleshoot issues or questions regarding target audience, file type, and business requirements.

Respond to linguistic queries from translation vendors.

Request feedback from internal stakeholders and coordinate with vendors for implementation.

Use project management methodology, including risk management; plan, scope, and deliver projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard, ensuring they meet the requirements of the business.

Required

2+ years of experience in project management and localization.

Excellent business communication skills.

Experience working in a global, cross-functional, multilingual team.

Preferred

Passion for intercultural communication.

Proven organizational skills and ability to multitask.

Ability to work independently with little oversight.

Ability to ask critical questions to comprehend customer needs and discover the root cause of issues.

Fluency in one or more non-English languages.

Comprehension of translation/localization industry processes.

Knowledge of localization tools, translation management systems, and working knowledge of content management systems.
