Responsibilities
Migrate legacy DMS and 5ESS switches to Ribbon G5/G6 VoIP switches
Follow MOP to conduct cutovers and perform DMS and/or 5ESS switch migrations
Document work is performed per customer standard requirements.
Complete all training as required by Ribbon
Read and understand Scope of Work (SOW) and Memorandum of Procedure (MOP)
Must be familiar with and be able to comply with standard Central Office protocols.

Required
DMS or 5ESS Translations Engineer experience required
Must have a solid understanding of legacy telephone switch migrations
Must be able to follow MOPS
High School Diploma or GED is required
Must have experience with NORTEL DMS, Lucent 5ESS, or similar switches
Must have higher level English language comm skills to communicate clearly and concisely with other team members
Maintain a positive attitude and work as a contributing team player
Able to work night-time maintenance windows, as required
Preferred
Legacy switch to VoIP migration and cutover experience desired
Experience with Ribbon G5 Gateway and G6 VoIP Switch is a bonus
Experience with installing Ribbon G5 Gateway is highly desired
Experience with developing and following MOPs
Should be certified as a DMS and/or 5ESS Translations Engineer
Familiar with provisioning orders, wiring and troubleshooting process and procedures
