Responsibilities
Plans, designs, and oversees construction of electric transmission lines
Analyzes existing transmission lines for upgrades
Researches new technologies and equipment
Coordinates and plans transmission project activities
Develops design processes and procedures
Writes construction contracts and manages contractors
Estimates quantities and costs for projects
Supports routing & siting projects
Reviews encroachment requests for customers and developers
Performs other duties as assigned

Required
Bachelors of Science degree in an engineering field from an ABET accredited four-year college or university
Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Texas
Preferred
Master’s degree from an accredited university
Experience with Bentley MicroStation software
Experience with PLS-CADD software
Experience with SAP software
