Responsibilities
Signal Management: Route and monitor multiple audio/visual feeds to and from facilities. Ensure all signals meet quality control standards, adjusting video, audio, and captions as necessary. Quickly identify and resolve issues in a live production environment.
Technical Configuration: Remotely configure hardware for live events and linear acquisition and distribution. Provide professional technical support.
Liaison Duties: Act as a technical liaison for troubleshooting signal issues. Notify appropriate parties of signal outages and critical issues.
Documentation: Keep meticulous notes and documentation regarding signal quality, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.

Required
Minimum of 3 years in Broadcast Engineering, Acquisition, Transmission, or a similar work environment.
Working knowledge of SD/HD-SDI, ASI, MPEG, and J2K signal types.
Familiarity with transmission and acquisition equipment and systems.
Understanding of analog and digital audio signals.
Knowledge of networking and TS Over IP principles (e.g., HLS, RTMP, SRT, Multicast, Unicast).
Experience with equipment from manufacturers such as Evertz, TAG VS, Ateme, Sencore.
Ability to understand signal flows and CAD drawings.
Experience in fast-paced environments.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Google suite.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent Experience.
Preferred
Some knowledge of elastic search and real-time analytics/visualizations, such as Splunk.
Strong communication skills via email and chat communication platforms.
College technical degree, technical certifications, or equivalent practical experience.
