Responsibilities
Support creation of a cost control strategy for each outage, including project WBS structure, activities, work orders, and respective budgets.
Support implementation of the strategy from bidding into purchase orders and finally through to invoicing. Communicate and simplify strategy for individual stakeholders to apply as required within their work stream.
Support TAR execution team to maintain accurate cost report from pre-TAR through to close out, including biweekly cost reports during TAR execution. Communicate anticipated gaps based on budget allocation and update as required.
Support the TAR Planning Manager in creating planning budgets for each outage and maintaining compliance with a monitoring dashboard.
Work with TAR Execution team, TRACK team, and System Improvement Lead to create and maintain real-time cost reporting suite during each TAR.
Analyze post TAR cost in key categories and document (“make good”) to create and maintain budget and estimating repository. Develop and monitor trends per plant, region, and across North America.
Support project development engineers in utilizing “make good” data for upcoming outages to ensure right-sized but adequate cost coverage. Ensure overall team headcount is accounted for across the TAR portfolio.
Report monthly on TAR cost center spending with focus on labor allocation and contractor invoicing compliance.

Required
Preferred background in an industrial setting with working knowledge of operating plant systems and typical turnaround/maintenance/capital project scopes.
Strong working knowledge common financial and accounting principles and models, with a strong focus on SAP reporting and data management.
Strong communication, organizational, and planning skills
Self-motivated and willingness to learn and improve
High ethical standards
Willing to work a wide variety of scheduled days and hours
Works professionally and harmoniously with employees, peers, management, support personnel, program participants and business area persons
Utilizes positive and constructive attitude toward resolution of problems and conflicts
Accepts direction, constructive feedback, and supervision
Proficient in the use of computers and business software, including Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook) OneNote
Proficient in use of SAP
This role is a Safety Sensitive Position. Pass pre-employment and random drug tests
Degree in engineering, finance, business, or related fields
5 years’ experience in turnarounds, project management, controls, maintenance, or finance
Valid Drivers' License and good driving record required.
