Responsibilities
Provide junior level analysis for current and future TxDMV business needs and problems in relation to IT solutions as an independent worker or team member
Lead efforts to elicit, document, manage, and model business requirements and business process workflows via analysis, interviews, facilitation, data collection techniques, business modeling methods, business processes, rules, logic, use case, and modeling tools.
Work with business to identify business related requirements and process workflows.
Ensure scope and desired results of business analysis deliverables are clearly understood by management, stakeholders, and team members.
Perform object-oriented analysis to create a documented hierarchy of business functions, processes, and sub-processes to ensure proper communication of business requirements to the developers.
Perform analysis of regulatory, business, user, functional, and non-functional business requirements to ensure requirements are complete and clearly organized.
May review complex project deliverables such as project charters, design documentation, test plans, and risk assessment plans; and may provide comments and suggestions to document owners.
May travel up to 5% of the time. Travels by car (may include flying). May include overnight travel. May require working extended hours and some evenings and weekends, as needed.
Required to attend work regularly and adhere to approved work hours in accordance with department policies and procedures.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Required
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of three (3) years progressively responsible planning, eliciting, developing, testing, documenting, managing, or modeling business requirements.
A valid Class 'C' driver's license is required.
If not currently a Texas resident, must obtain a Texas Driver's License within ninety (90) days after entering Texas as a new resident.
A satisfactory driving record is required for operating state or personal vehicles to conduct department business.
Proof of education and experience listed on the application.
Eligibility to work in the United States.
Satisfactory results from a pre-employment criminal history background check and driver’s record check.
Compliance with Selective Service registration for males ages 18-25.
Required to attend work regularly and observe approved work hours in accordance with department policies and procedures.
