Responsibilities

Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using UFT/QTP for functional and regression testing.

Analyze test results, identify issues, and provide detailed documentation for bug tracking and resolution.

Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various applications.

Integrate UFT automation with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Collaborate with developers and QA analysts to identify and address defects early in the development cycle.

Perform test data preparation and environment configuration as required.

Maintain detailed documentation of test procedures, test results, and defect logs.

Ensure compliance with established QA processes, standards, and best practices.

Monitor and report on test progress and outcomes to stakeholders.

Required

Strong experience with UFT (Unified Functional Testing) and VBScript for test automation.

Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing processes, and SDLC.

Experience in functional, regression, integration, and system testing.

Proficiency in integrating UFT with ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) or similar tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Required Security clearance.

Preferred

Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or others is a plus.

ISTQB or other QA certifications are preferred.

Federal Experience is a plus.
