Responsibilities

Work cross-functionally to build, test, deploy, and launch UIs that operationalize workflows at scale.

Participate in product reviews and team meetings, providing technical insight and helping prioritize needs.

Evaluate new technologies to streamline rapid application development tooling and conventions.

Learn and influence new systems and tools as the Netflix platform evolves.

Participate in on-call rotation, lead incident reviews, and communicate technical issues to stakeholders.

Apply engineering best practices, mentor team members, and promote an inclusive team environment.

Passionate about user experience and have an eye for improving UIs, passionate about building intuitive user interfaces in close partnership with UX Designers and Product Managers

Love brainstorming with fellow Backend and UI engineers, product designers, and product managers, and directly with our users, to understand what they want, figure out what they really need, and finally, what we should build

Curious to work with the Hawkins Design System, adopting reusable components as part of the product and contributing to their implementation

Have a strong sense of ownership, independence, bias towards action, and inclination for collaboration

Able to recognize, communicate, address and lead the technical improvements as part of the roadmap

Passionate about web performance, observability and developer experience tools

In-depth knowledge of web performance and accessibility

Strong in technical design end to end with emphasis on UI and can inform the vision of fellow UI and BE colleagues

Helped define and ensure accountability for UI Engineering best practices across a team
