Responsibilities
Perform customer discovery to divine what customers will find real value in (i.e., will people pay for)
Find and talk with many stakeholders, customers, markets to understand what customers value most and determine what they’ll pay for
Record, organize, and present findings to team
Collaborate with engineers and designers to build a desirable product that delivers on that value with a view to commercial potential
Create rapid prototypes in Figma to test your solutions
Create a diagram of a process or workflow, find ways to simplify
Lead team in the right direction, consistently achieve a successful outcome or a learning
Lead critical decision making to optimize the process and product
Organize work in the right sequence and scope so that the product can be realized as quickly as possible
Maintain accurate timelines, budgets, milestones and hit targets
Help a product team make critical decisions that help optimize form and function and time to market
Help the team make data-informed decisions
Measure and gather data to inform decision making (e.g. A/B testing, Mix panel)
Measure and report on results (# of users, customer insights, etc)
Research and share insights with teammates
Work to ensure that the entire customer experience is delightful beyond just the code and product
This includes considerations like branding, pricing, sales, and support and other services that make up the full customer experience. You may not drive these things but you will serve as a critical contributor
Remove impediments to growth by absorbing ongoing customer feedback and driving customer acquisition, adoption, and evangelism
Obsess over user experience and product quality
Empathize with the customer and analyze every detail of their experience from their perspective
Achieve world class designs and functionality - matching or exceeding competitors where needed

Required
Proven experience building and launching products in a start-up environment
Demonstrated ability to conduct and synthesize customer research into actionable insights
Experience leading cross-functional teams and working closely with designers and developers
Strong understanding of user experience, design principles, and best practices
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative environment with short development timelines
Ability to clarify themes and trends after listening to multiple perspectives
Curiosity and proven ability to unpack issues in order to find & solve the root causes
Must be comfortable leading projects from start to finish, sometimes multiple projects at once
Must be comfortable managing 1-4 teammates (flexibility to add/ remove teammates to hit your goals) and being accountable for your team’s results
Must have experience using Figma, Mixpanel, and Bubble
Must be able to use excel to create basic financial models, projections, dashboards, etc and quickly learn new software tool
