Responsibilities
Learn about li-ion battery technology and its market segments.
Search for new companies and facilities to add to the database.
Correct and update information about existing companies and facilities.
Obtain information about changes in employees, production volume, and capacity.
Update the database using information from the Team’s questionnaire.
Develop a web-based questionnaire for data entry into the Excel Supply Chain Database file.
Monitor and reply to emails in the LIB.SupplyChain@nrel.gov inbox.
Contact representatives of companies and facilities to collect information.
Update and correct the email distribution list for future releases.
Find address and GPS coordinates of companies and facilities.
Enter new information into the existing Excel Database.
Support Communication representatives and the Web Development team in posting the database on the LIB SC Database website.
Analyze database segments for growth identification over time.
Support in developing content such as graphs and tables for reports, presentations, and journal articles.
Provide additional supply chain analysis as needed in collaboration with The LIB Supply Chain Team.

Required
Minimum of a 3.0 cumulative grade point average
Must be enrolled as a full-time student in a bachelor’s degree program from an accredited institution
Additional skills include the knowledge of data analysis software (Excel or other advanced analysis tool)
Preferred
An undergraduate (full time in the summer, part time during school) with demonstrated experience in database development and analysis
Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision
Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Excel software is preferred
Demonstrated familiarity with a programming language (e.g., Java, Python, R, C++) is preferred
Demonstrated familiarity with developing a web-based questionnaire
