Responsibilities
Conducts investigations, evaluates and makes recommendations regarding coverage and liability.
Sets and maintains appropriate reserves.
Handles litigated files. Attend depositions, arbitrations, mediations, court proceedings and trials.
Reviews and analyzes medical records to evaluate UM/UIM bodily injury claims to negotiate settlements.
Trains and mentors.
Completes required training.
Travel for training may be required.

Required
High school diploma or GED required
Five years' casualty claims adjusting experience or equivalent experience in the medical or legal field required
Valid driver’s license required
Preferred
Associates or bachelor's degree preferred
Completion of the Associate in Claims (AIC) program or Senior Claim's Law Associate (SCLA) preferred
