Responsibilities
Ground penetration radar operation for tree root mapping, tree trunk mapping, archeological sites, burial site investigation and construction site locates.
GIS mapping for inventories including tree, municipal & university assets, and urban canopy mapping.
Tree risk assessments for private and commercial properties.
Drone mapping using LiDar.
Conducting environmental studies, and general -plant health care.

Required
Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with clients and develop meaningful and long lasting relationships
Consistently follows through with all orders and instructions
The employee will be expected to thoroughly learn all aspects of our daily operations
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and various southern states
Operation of machinery including but not limited to; ATVs/Side-by-side, tractors, company vehicles, trailers, power tools, and other hand tools
Being prepared to work longer hours as needed
Being self-motivated and being able to handle time well
Passion for the outdoors and trees
Some minor knowledge of mechanical issues or willingness to learn to fix them
high school diploma or equivalent
Preferred
Certification(s) in arboriculture or forestry is a plus
