Responsibilities
Work with ML Engineers to identify risks for customers related to AI and ML functions.
Develop research studies on risks associated with AI and ML involving human participants through surveys, experiments, and focus groups.
Create and manage schedules for study participants.
Collaborate with team members on user research projects related to Responsible AI.
Test various research methods and hypotheses.
Analyze study results, provide reporting, and recaps.
Set up necessary devices and apps for studies.
Lead user studies from start to finish, report progress, and process post-data.
Train moderators to ensure correct study execution.
Verify collected data for reliability and validity.
Troubleshoot devices, applications, and tools for studies when needed.
Analyze and extract data to share with the team.

Required
Master's or PHD degree
Experience in Responsible AI
Experience in Customer Safety Focus Research as it relates to AI/ML
Experience in User Research
Experience working on Responsible AI
Experience collecting data with human participants
Experience designing studies and analyzing the results
Experience with Machine Learning from a knowledge standpoint and understanding the fundamentals as it relates to ML, ML customer safety, ML systems
