Responsibilities

Conduct primary and secondary user research, focusing on survey and telephony workflows, including IVR design and participant response preferences.
Plan, implement, and evaluate both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, including usability testing, market analysis, and ethnographic studies.
Develop and execute comprehensive test cases for survey and telephony functionalities to ensure high-quality system performance.
Validate system compliance with federal accessibility standards (Section 508, WCAG) and security regulations (HIPAA, FISMA).
Perform accessibility reviews and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define research goals, prioritize features, and improve user experience.
Advocate for user-centered design principles by presenting research findings to diverse audiences through written reports, oral presentations, and actionable insights.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to refine workflows, including telephony integrations with AWS Connect, Salesforce, and ServiceNow.
Mentor and coach junior researchers and business analysts on best practices in user research, accessibility, and quality assurance.
Create and refine training materials, and conduct targeted training sessions for survey administrators and telephony teams.
Use advanced tools for analytics, including AWS QuickSight and LimeSurvey reporting features, to gather actionable insights.
Ensure compliance with security and privacy regulations, such as HIPAA and FISMA, while conducting research.

Required

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of six years in UX research, with a proven track record in enterprise systems, telephony workflows, or survey administration platforms.
Strong understanding of accessibility standards (Section 508, WCAG) and their practical application.
Experience conducting usability studies and working with advanced survey tools like LimeSurvey, Qualtrics, or SurveyMonkey.
Proven experience in developing and executing test cases for enterprise software systems, including telephony and survey platforms.
Familiarity with cloud-based solutions, including AWS services such as AWS Cognito, Connect, Lambda, and QuickSight.
Ability to quickly and effectively communicate research insights to diverse stakeholders, driving user-centered decisions.
Experience with functional testing and collaborative platforms.
Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
Proficiency in tools for qualitative and quantitative research, such as QuickSight, Tableau, is a plus.

Preferred

Expertise in designing and evaluating telephony workflows, including IVR systems and AWS Connect integrations.
Knowledge of advanced data analytics and AI-driven insights, with experience in tools like AWS SageMaker for predictive analytics.
Familiarity with federal compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, FISMA, PRA).
Experience developing test plans and validating system compliance against federal standards.
Experience working on large-scale projects with high call volumes and complex survey administration workflows.
