Responsibilities
Provide specialized expertise in the design and layout of graphical user interfaces, particularly, screen layouts and functionality for client-server applications (e.g. Microsoft Windows presentation screens).
Conduct studies, testing and evaluation of screen prototypes for functionality, ease of use, efficiency, and accuracy.
Designs web pages and develops web-based technical solutions that engage users and meet business requirements.
Handles projects from conceptualization through delivery.
Develops and applies creative designs, ensuring that content meets brand standards and targets the intended audience.
Tests and improves site usability while ensuring optimal performance on a variety of browsers.
Shall analyze, develop, and implement user-centered design for interactive and collaborative tools that meet the goals and objectives to provide a collaborative platform for users of NPIN System resources.
Shall have experience with user-centered design and validating design effectiveness through quantitative and qualitative methods.
Will oversee participant recruitment, user and task analysis, data collection and analysis, assess user surveys, make astute observations, and conduct expert and guidelines-based interviews and reviews.

Required
Requires a BS/BA degree (or equivalent)
Requires knowledge of United States web design system and 508 compliance
Requires 5-7 years of related experience
Requires 5 or more years of experience with complex UX/UI projects
Candidate must be a US Citizen
Must undergo Public Trust Background Investigation check
Preferred
Industry certification consistent with position (desired)
