Responsibilities

Have basic knowledge and use of hand tools

Learn and understand operations of various equipment and systems such as air compressors, water purification equipment, HVAC systems, etc.

Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, structural, and control systems

Review service requests and address operational problems

Maintain facility services, documentation, and safety training

Analyze and troubleshoot system operations

Conduct regular building inspections and document findings

Assist in managing parts and tools flow

Required

High School diploma or GED equivalent with two years of trades schooling

2+ year(s) experience in electrical system design, refrigeration and HVAC

Ability to work overtime to fulfill work orders in a timely manner

Ability to mentally and physically react effectively, quickly, calmly and rationally in case of an emergency

Physical ability to inspect both outdoor and indoor facilities areas in manufacturing and research environments

Current Driver's License and the ability to operate motor vehicles

Participation in Medical Clearance and Medical Surveillance programs

Security Background Check and Clearance

Pre-employment health screening and Drug Testing

Lifting: The ability to lift heavy objects, up to [insert weight limit], is required. This may involve repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying of items.

Preferred

Experience in a pharmaceutical or life science environment

Knowledge in HVAC, Mechanical and Electrical processes and troubleshooting. (Chillers, Boilers, Cooling Towers, Air Conditioning, Pumps, Generators, UPS etc.)
