Responsibilities
Lead the development and maintenance of the company’s Figma-based design system.
Ensure the design system is scalable, well-documented, and easy for designers and developers to use.
Conduct training as needed for teams
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to integrate new components and patterns into the design system.
Monitor and enforce consistency in design patterns, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.
Identify inefficiencies in the design process and implement solutions to streamline workflows.
Develop and maintain design documentation, ensuring that all design assets are organized and accessible.
Facilitate communication between design, development, and product teams to ensure seamless integration of design work into product development.
Create and implement advanced animations and interactive elements that enhance user experience.
Work with designers and developers to ensure that animations are technically feasible and aligned with the product’s design goals.
Prototype animation concepts in Figma and other relevant tools, interating based on feedback and technical constraints.
Provide support and guidance to the UX/UI design team, helping them leverage the design system and workflow tools effectively.
Facilitate design reviews and ensure that feedback is incorporated efficiently into the design process.
Work closely with developers to ensure that design specifications are accurately translated into the final product.
Stay up-to-date with the latest design operations trends, tools, and best practices.
Advocate for and implement new tools or processes that improve the efficiency and quality of design operations.
Regularly audit the design system and workflows, making necessary updates to ensure they evolve with the product and design team’s needs.

Required
At least 5+ years of experience as UX Design Ops experience
Proven experience in a UX Design Ops or similar role
Extensive experience with Figma, including managing and scaling design systems
Strong knowledge of animation principles and experience creating interactive animations in Figma or similar tools
Familiarity with UX/UI design processes and best practices
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience with design documentation and workflow optimization
Experience with design and animation tools such as After Effects, Principle, or Lottie
Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and how they impact design and animation
Experience working in an Agile environment
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Initiative and drive to do great things
Preferred
Experience with animation will be a significant plus
