Responsibilities

Conduct business valuations for a variety of purposes including financial reporting, tax planning, and litigation support.

Analyze and interpret financial statements, economic data, and market trends to determine the value of businesses and intangible assets.

Prepare detailed valuation reports and present findings to clients and stakeholders.

Collaborate with internal teams and external experts to gather relevant information and ensure accurate valuations.

Stay current on industry standards, regulations, and best practices in business valuation.

Required

Must already reside in the HUDSON VALLEY

2-5 years' of core business valuation services

Demonstrable knowledge of business entities and intangible assets, purchase price allocations, tangible asset appraisal, litigation support, financial modeling skills, financial analysis, report writing and testimony, effective verbal and written communication skills, solid analytical skills

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree

Field of study in business administration, finance, economics, or accounting is preferred yet not required as other quantitative fields of study could be relevant such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, etc.

Business valuation credentials (e.g., ASA, ABV, CVA, RICS, CEIV, etc.) or progress to obtaining is a must

Preferred

Expert testimony experience

CVA, ASA, CFA, or CPA highly desirable

CFA or progress to obtaining is a plus

An MBA is not required but a plus
