Responsibilities
Identify and evaluate investment opportunities in startups leveraging AI and emerging technologies.
Conduct in-depth market research, financial modeling, and competitive analysis to assess potential investments.
Stay on top of policy changes, market trends, and sector dynamics.
Dive deep into business models, technology, and market positioning of startups.
Collaborate with legal, technical, and financial teams to ensure robust evaluations.
Work with portfolio companies to refine their strategies, scale operations, and leverage AI tools.
Track portfolio performance and prepare insightful reports for stakeholders.
Analyze and experiment with AI tools and solutions to evaluate their impact on industries and everyday life.
Write engaging investment memos, thought leadership articles, and newsletters showcasing GenAI.Works’ expertise.
Develop blog posts and reports on market trends, AI applications, and startup success stories.
Frame and communicate actionable points of view (PoVs) on the future of AI, startup ecosystems, and investment themes.
Translate complex technical and financial concepts into accessible and compelling narratives.
Develop narratives that showcase the impact of AI technologies and the successes of portfolio companies.
Collaborate with marketing teams to create consistent and engaging messaging across platforms.
Engage with GenAI.Works’ global audience of entrepreneurs, investors, and thought leaders.
Contribute to building the brand’s reputation as a leader in AI and venture capital.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Journalism, Communications, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
2+ years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, consulting, journalism, content creation, or entrepreneurship.
Demonstrated passion for AI, startups, and technology, with a strong understanding of the startup ecosystem.
Proven experience in professional writing or content creation, with a portfolio of published work (e.g., blog posts, investment memos, market reports).
Exceptional Communication Skills: Outstanding English writing and speaking skills to craft clear, compelling, and impactful content.
Analytical Expertise: Strong ability to evaluate startups, markets, and financial data critically.
Tech Savviness: Deep interest in AI tools and trends with a desire to apply them in real-world scenarios.
Networking Proficiency: Comfortable engaging with founders, investors, and other stakeholders.
Preferred
An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
