Responsibilities
The Vehicle Engineer/Architect supports the Chief Engineer activities for StrykerX Subsystems and vehicle development.
Provides engineering expertise for critical technical decisions, conceptualizes new product solutions, and oversees technical scope, performance, and quality.
Coordinates technical oversight, leads Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) activities, and provides technical guidance to matrixed resources.
Influences planning, execution, and strategy for key programs/tasks, represents the project to senior GDLS leadership and global clients.
Serves as the lead technical expert on technical matters for external and internal customers, and influences technology roadmaps.

Required
Bachelors in electrical engineering or computer science preferred; Other engineering degrees will be considered
Experience with software and/or LRU development a plus
A minimum of 7 years of related experience
Strong interest and enthusiasm for emerging technology, to include but not limited to, hybrid electric drive, autonomy and AI.
Very strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience engaging w/ internal and external customer leaders.
Demonstrated creativity / innovation.
Desire to lead and learn with a spirit of continuous improvement.
Demonstrated initiative and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Must be able to obtain Security clearance (must be a U.S. Person, i.e., a lawful permanent resident of the U.S.)
Occasionally must lift and carry equipment weighing 30 lbs
Preferred
