Responsibilities
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating standard agreements including new service agreements, renewal agreements, NDAs, DPAs, BAAs and SOWS, working closely with Customer Service, Sales and Legal Department personnel.
Managing the contract lifecycle, including contract generation, obtaining non-standard term approval, contract signature and archiving
Ensuring that terms of executed contracts are communicated to relevant team members
Supporting ongoing work building and maintaining knowledge management in respect to Vendor contracting.
Collaborating with bswift’s business partners and Legal to assess and address any identified risk
Interpreting and assessing executed customer agreements to quickly identify the issues that need either a business or legal decision
Collaborate with various departments to understand their purchasing needs and forecast future demands.
Stay informed about market trends to obtain competitive pricing and high-quality goods and services.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers while strengthening relationships with current vendors.
Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers to ensure top-notch service, quality, and compliance.
Negotiate optimal terms, cost savings, and pricing, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Perform extensive redlining and responsive edits to contracts, ensuring clarity, compliance, and business alignment.
Manage the full contract lifecycle, including approvals, exceptions, renewals, and renegotiations.
Ensure contracts follow company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
Lead procurement activities including requisitions to RFPs, guaranteeing timely and cost-effective delivery.
Educate internal teams on working with approved suppliers, adhering to established processes, and understanding contract terms.
Respond promptly to vendor information requests required under client contracts, meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
Mentor junior procurement team members, offering guidance on best practices, and negotiation tactics.
Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Operations, IT, Marketing, HR, and other teams to align strategies and improve procurement efficiency.
Identify and implement ongoing improvements in procurement methods, systems, and processes.

Required
Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field required, or equivalent work experience
A minimum of 5 years of working with contracts and at least 2 of which is primarily with SaaS contracts
Proven pricing negotiation with vendors
Time management, project management, prioritization and organization skills
Commitment to professionalism and personal growth, with a strong sense of collaboration and teamwork as a path to success.
Flexibility in a fast-paced and decentralized work environment.
Ability to scale and grow with an organization.
Ability to prioritize, manage and execute numerous projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication (oral and written) skills, judgment and diplomacy.
Familiarity with Contract Lifecycle Management or digital contracting software
Preferred
Professional certifications such as CPM or CPSM are highly desirable.
DocuSign and a CLM
Prior healthcare or benefits administration experience is a plus
