Responsibilities

Cultivate and uphold high-level relationships with key stakeholders across CMS

Lead the creation and execution of health-related innovation initiatives aligned with CMS objectives

Develop and advocate for innovative programs and policies that advance CMS's mission and improve the delivery of services for beneficiaries. This includes focusing on interoperability, digital health solutions, quality measures, and health equity.

Monitor and analyze healthcare industry trends, policy changes, and regulatory developments impacting CMS programs. Provide insights to inform strategy and program adjustments as needed

Stay abreast of industry trends and legislative changes that impact federal health markets.

Work closely with the technology, operations, clinical, and product development teams to craft targeted solutions for identified challenges.

Required

Advanced degree in Public Health, Health Policy, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field

Leadership experience within CMS with expertise in CCSQ, CMMI, CPIOC and/or OIT programs

10+ years of experience working within the public health ecosphere

In-depth knowledge of Medicare policies, quality standards, value-based care models, program integrity, and/or health IT within CMS

Proven ability to develop data-driven strategies that deliver measurable results. Skilled in interpreting complex healthcare data and policy developments.

Strategic thinker with the capability to operate effectively at both the strategic planning and operational execution levels.
