Responsibilities
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Strategic Communications, Brand, and Marketing to lead the external voice and brand strategy.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive communication, marketing, and media engagement strategies that align with the organization's mission and values.
This role involves casting a vision for the teams, enhancing the company's voice and impact, and providing thought leadership to bolster sector presence.
The VP will also be a trusted advisor to the executive and leadership teams, managing stakeholder engagement, and ensuring that all external communications are cohesive and effective.
A key aspect of the position is to anticipate and navigate potential risks and issues with a focus on brand reputation.
The role requires a deep understanding of the intersection of public relations, public policy, and reputation, particularly in the context of K-12 education.
The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking and innovative leader, capable of translating strategy into action and leading through growth and change.
They must be committed to ending education inequality, with a proven track record of managing a high-performing team and fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
The VP will be expected to motivate and influence others, and to collaborate authentically with a variety of stakeholders.

Required
Minimum of 10-12 years' of progressive communications leadership
Strong background in social media, marketing, and digital communications
Deep understanding of the intersection of public relations, public policy, and reputation, particularly in the context of K-12 education
Proven track record of managing a high-performing team
Commitment to ending education inequality
Ability to motivate and influence others
Capability to collaborate authentically with a variety of stakeholders
Experience in developing and executing comprehensive communication, marketing, and media engagement strategies
