Responsibilities
Architect supplier management best practices to enhance supply performance and oversight of the Supplier Risk & Continuity program.
Establish a multi-year cost reduction program throughout the supply chain while enhancing flexibility and scalability.
Drive quality, on-time delivery, and cost position for new product development roadmap.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and partnership in developing and executing supply chain strategies aligned with Cepheid Global Operations objectives.
Manage compliance worldwide and ensure audit integrity.

Required
Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, engineering, logistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with 5-7 years of managerial experience working across a global organization, preferably in a regulated industry
Demonstrated success in supplier management, cost reduction projects, VAVE, DPO/terms, on-time delivery, supplier sustainability, or experience in a mature industry/healthcare industry/consulting.
Previous ERP experience, preferably with QAD or SAP.
Demonstrated experience in negotiating using contract law/structure knowledge
Experience aligning business needs with external suppliers/internal stakeholders.
Experience in a make-or-buy project role.
Preferred
APICS certification, experience with Six Sigma/lean or Danaher Business System.
Demonstrated ability to construct, negotiate, and build consensus for complex contracts.
MBA or advanced law degree, with technical experience preferred.
