Responsibilities
Develops and executes a comprehensive growth strategy to expand the organization’s market presence in personal care services.
Establishes and maintains strong relationships with referral sources, healthcare providers, payers, and community stakeholders.
Manage Business Development Operations
Lead and mentor a team focused on sales, marketing, and business development.
Oversee a team of 20+ business development professionals operating in 7 markets, enabling and monitoring performance.
Establish tools, processes and governance mechanisms to manage production and performance of the business development team. Evolve approaches in real time to reflect learnings and expand best practices.
Collaborate with operations, clinical teams, and other departments to align growth strategies with service delivery capabilities.
Conduct research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for growth.
Analyze market data to guide decision-making and prioritize growth initiatives.
Monitor industry changes and ensure the organization adapts to regulatory and market dynamics.
Act as a key representative for the organization at industry events, conferences, and community engagements.
Oversee the development and implementation of marketing campaigns that highlight the company’s value proposition and drive brand awareness.
Build strategies to strengthen the organization's reputation as a trusted provider of home health care services.
Ensure marketing efforts align with regulatory requirements and company standards.
Establish growth goals and revenue targets, regularly reporting progress to the EVP.
Develop budgets for growth-related activities and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
Track and analyze the success of growth initiatives and adjust strategies as needed to achieve objectives.
Determines appropriate resourcing of staff in order to achieve goals and objectives.
Defines annual Key Performance Indicators aligned with corporate goals.
Manages and mentors employees on performance gaps, career development opportunities, and strategies.
Manages and coaches employees on all human resource related processes including onboarding, performance management, succession planning, employee relations, selection, terminations, compensation and rewards.
Recognizes others’ contributions and share credit for success.
Owns attainment of high employee satisfaction and retention; lead development of program and initiatives within group to attain high employee satisfaction.
Prepares and manages budget as assigned; analyzes variances and initiates corrective actions to maximize operational performance.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Fifteen (15) plus years of Business Development Growth, ideally within the home health care or a related industry.
Ten (10) plus years senior leadership experience with added responsibility of leading high performing teams.
Strong understanding of the home health care landscape, including regulations, payer systems, and market dynamics.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities and build lasting partnerships.
Proficiency in data analysis and using insights to inform strategy.
Results-oriented with a proven track record of achieving revenue and growth targets.
Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Deep understanding of the personal and home care industry, including key trends, competitors, and market dynamics.
Expertise in strategies for business growth, client acquisition, and relationship management.
Strong knowledge of financial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Ability to develop and implement long-term strategic plans to achieve business growth objectives.
Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and inspire a diverse team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Proven negotiation skills to secure favorable contracts and partnerships.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful completion.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address challenges and capitalize on opportunities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
