Responsibilities

Ensure adherence to company policies and GSE senior housing underwriting standards, and review debt application packages for guideline conformance and loan sizing.

Critically review borrower credit information, third-party reports, and property details to ensure compliance with program requirements.

Draft and finalize underwriting submittal packages, including transaction analysis, risk discussion, and waiver requests, and ensure accuracy and compliance with GSE guidelines.

Provide support during the closing process to ensure conformity with credit terms and keep the team informed of project progress and issues.

Offer training and mentoring on GSE senior housing programs, stay updated on policies and legislation, and participate in process improvements and technological initiatives.

Required

Exceptional credit sense, judgment, and decision-making skills with strong technical skills in underwriting, structuring, and closing complex senior housing deals.

Independent worker with strong project management skills, excellent accuracy, attention to detail, and adaptability to industry changes.

Ability to travel for property inspections, Agency training, industry and company conferences, and training of analysts as required.

Five years minimum of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac senior housing underwriting experience.

Demonstrable expertise in managing and executing senior housing transactions.
