Responsibilities
Develop and execute consultative business strategies to identify and pursue new opportunities, primarily in the sports industry.
Research and establish relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders, acting as a subject matter expert on Jack Porter’s project processes.
Lead new business meetings and understand client procurement processes to manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
Oversee key elements of the sales process, including:
Identifying opportunities and connecting with stakeholders.
Gathering project details such as challenges, timing, budget, and goals.
Collaborating with leadership and the internal team to create proposals.
Presenting proposals and driving the business to close.
Leading RFP/RFQ efforts and strategically managing large, complex projects.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring smooth handoffs to Account Managers while staying involved in key project stages.
Attend bi-weekly meetings, engage in 1:1 coaching, and work closely with marketing.
Maintain CRM with weekly activity updates, providing bi-weekly reports on business funnel, forecasts, and project pursuits.
Seek leadership approval for new projects and maintain an active role in key decisions.
Travel 30%+ for client meetings and company events.

Required
Exceptional consultative selling skills.
Ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in CRM tools, specifically HubSpot.
Strong understanding of project procurement and sales processes.
Experience leading RFP/RFQ efforts.
Experience in the professional sports industry.
Experience in large-scale, complex design projects with long timelines.
Experience in architecture and environmental graphic design projects.
Proven track record of closing complex sales in creative or design-driven environments.
