Responsibilities
Accountable for developing and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to meet expanding annual revenue goals and build the organization’s permanent endowment funds.
Identify and cultivate relationships with current and potential individual donors, corporate sponsors, and philanthropic foundations.
Prioritize, pursue, and secure diversified revenue sources
Oversee and manage all aspects of fundraising campaigns, including major gifts, annual appeals, planned giving, and special events.
Collaborate with the executive team and board members to align fundraising efforts with organizational priorities and initiatives.
Ensure performance and alignment across the development, marketing, and partnerships teams.
Implement goals, consistent processes, and measurement of revenue-related activities and outcomes
Utilize software to monitor and analyze fundraising data to evaluate performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize fundraising strategies.
Prepare regular reports on fundraising progress and results for the executive team, board of directors, and other stakeholders.
Develop and nurture relationships with current and prospective individual and corporate donors, providing personalized stewardship and recognition.
Plan and execute donor cultivation events and activities to engage and involve donors in the organization's work including international donor trips.
Implement consistent donor stewardship reporting and appreciation including implementing systems to fulfill grant reporting requirements.
As a member of the Executive Team, play an integral role in the overall strategy and direction of the organization.
Serve as a public face of the organization at high-level events, forums, and conferences, along with media interactions.
Complete other duties as assigned by the Executive Team and Board of Directors.

Required
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of 10 years of leading revenue generating functions, and success in driving at least $5M annually in sales or philanthropy.
Demonstrated success in raising 6 and 7 figure donations or sales from individuals, corporations, and foundations, with a track record of meeting or exceeding fundraising or sales targets.
Ability to hold a big vision, while executing tactically in a lean organization.
Passion for international development, entrepreneurship, and educational programs
Ability to regularly travel internationally with donors and partners (4-8 trips per year)
Strong understanding of fundraising or sales principles, strategies, and best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate the organization's mission and impact to diverse audiences.
Exceptional relationship-building and networking skills, with the ability to establish and maintain strong connections with high-net-worth donors and stakeholders.
Experience in grant writing and management.
Preferred
MBA and/or private sector experience
Conversational Spanish ability
