Responsibilities
Provide strategic direction and leadership to the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Work closely with the CTO to define and execute the technical vision and strategy, aligning it with the company’s overall objectives and goals.
Implement and optimize engineering processes and methodologies to improve efficiency, quality, and time-to-market.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and Operations, to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
Manage the engineering budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our technology infrastructure.

Required
10+ years of engineering experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
5+ years experience in the K12 EdTech industry is essential.
Familiarity with modern technology stacks, cloud services, and agile methodologies, preferably with GoLang.
Demonstrated success in scaling engineering teams and delivering complex technology solutions.
Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development and architecture.
Preferred
Experience with multiple funding rounds, particularly Series B and beyond, is highly desirable.
