Responsibilities

Achieve monthly and annual retention and bookings goals.
Provide monthly forecasts of expected sales and retention results.
Implement a systematic approach to sales rep lead generation that result in healthy sales pipelines.
Complete comprehensive reporting on results, sales activity, and forward-looking sales metrics.
Recruit a growing team of high potential sales people and create a culture of performance, accountability, and collaboration.
Create a world-class sales training program that becomes the envy of the software world.
Determine the optimal sales jobs, headcount, territories, and tools to maximize sales.
Thoughtfully integrate acquired companies to create a single sales model, sales culture, and performance management system.
Collaborate closely with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
Be an active and productive member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) by building trust through healthy debate, commitment to ELT decisions, and accountability that help guide the overall company.

Required

Minimum of 15 years of experience in sales (including 10 years in technology sales), with a proven track record of achieving quota and growing sales.
Minimum of 5 years in sales management with experience managing managers.
Expertise in developing and executing go-to-market plans for a fast-growing organization (e.g., expanding territories, changing compensation plans, comprehensive sales training).
Experience leading sales operations to forecast, report, and plan sales operations.
Experience working with marketing to collaborate on lead generation activities.
Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making ability.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
Track record of scaling small companies.

Preferred

Experience in the education or e-learning industry is a plus.
Experience in financial services is a plus.
