Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share for Onward Robotics solutions.
Identify and develop new business generation processes to acquire new logos across various industries through proactive outbound methods.
Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of success, accountability, and goal achievement.
Lead and coach the team in all stages of the sales cycle to ensure a high conversion rate and consistent achievement of revenue targets.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organizations.
Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure seamless lead-to-revenue processes and alignment on go-to-market initiatives.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
Develop detailed sales forecasts and budgets. Ensure accurate pipeline reporting and forecasting through effective CRM management.
Continuously assess and improve sales processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Required
Deep understanding of distribution and fulfillment operations and related industry standards.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
Proficiency in negotiating terms, pricing, and contracts with clients to close deals effectively.
Ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and tailor sales strategies accordingly.
Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and can pivot quickly to new strategies as needed.
10+ years of experience in customer-facing sales or consulting roles.
8+ years of experience successfully leading sales teams.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and other sales tools to track sales activities, manage leads, and measure performance metrics.
Experience in developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market penetration goals.
BS degree in Business Administration, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
Preferred
15 years or more of experience in selling technology solutions, preferably autonomous mobile robots, or related automation products.
10 years of experience successfully managing a sales team in the industrial automation industry.
Master’s in Business Administration is a plus.
