Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and direction for all operational aspects of the company’s heavy civil construction projects.
Oversee project management teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and other stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and foster repeat business.
Drive operational efficiency by analyzing workflows, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing best practices.
Monitor financial performance, ensuring profitability and cost control across all projects.
Lead efforts to recruit, train, and develop top talent, building a high-performing and cohesive operations team.
Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Required
At least 15 years of progressive experience in the heavy civil construction industry, with a strong background in operations management.
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale infrastructure projects, including highways, bridges, earthworks, and utilities.
Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and profit and loss management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
In-depth knowledge of construction methods, equipment, and industry best practices.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred
advanced degree is a plus
