Responsibilities
Develop and execute the company's reporting and analytics strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of data warehouses, lakes, and marts using Microsoft and cloud technologies (AWS and Azure).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and implement value-driving solutions.
Present complex data findings to executive leadership and board members concisely.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all initiatives.
Drive adoption of advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modeling, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
Manage integration of diverse data sources, including ERP, HRIS, Medicare Administration applications, health plan claims systems, and CMS data.
Develop and maintain data governance frameworks compliant with HIPAA, PCI, NACHA, and SOC regulations.
Direct creation of data pipelines, ETL processes, and transformation workflows using tools like SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and SQL databases.
Supervise development of advanced analytics and visualization solutions using PowerBI, Tableau, SAS, and other tools.
Mentor and develop data professionals, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain cutting-edge analytics capabilities.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Proven experience in the healthcare industry, particularly with Medicare, Medicaid, ACA, and Commercial Health Plans
Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft data warehouse technologies (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, SQL databases) and big data technologies on AWS and Azure
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, PCI, NACHA, and SOC compliance
Proficiency in Business Intelligence reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar
Strong knowledge of relational, SQL and dimensional databases
Experience with data warehouse design patterns, cube/tabular model
Strong planning, organizational, analytical, decision-making and communication skills
Strong business acumen
Preferred
Master’s degree
Experience with ETL development
Knowledge of Modelling Languages (R, Python), Big Data
Knowledge of Databricks and Snowflake data platforms
