Responsibilities
Lead the planning, editing, and production of engaging videos for our YouTube channel, including vlogs, tutorials, interviews, and promotional content.
Create eye-catching thumbnails and engaging end screens that draw viewers in, boost video reach, and encourage interaction.
Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and refine video concepts and scripts.
Ensure all videos align with our brand voice, style, and standards, contributing to a cohesive and compelling channel identity.
Utilize your deep understanding of YouTube algorithms, SEO, and platform trends to optimize content for maximum reach and engagement.
Stay ahead of the curve by continually updating your knowledge of YouTube trends, editing techniques, and platform changes.
Manage video projects from start to finish, including receiving raw footage, editing, adding effects/graphics, and finalizing the video for upload.
Work closely with the social media team to effectively promote videos across all platforms and drive traffic to the channel.
Provide creative input and propose new ideas for video content and series that will captivate our audience.

Required
Experience in developing and executing YouTube content strategies to grow subscribers and increase engagement.
A deep understanding of audience retention strategies and how to keep viewers engaged throughout the video.
Familiarity with copyright laws and fair use practices as they relate to video content on YouTube.
Proven experience as a video editor, specifically with YouTube content.
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
Strong understanding of YouTube algorithms, SEO, and video optimization techniques.
Excellent storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail and visual composition.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
A portfolio or reel showcasing previous work, particularly YouTube videos, is required.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Film, Media Production or a related field or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 3 years production experience.
A passion for Real Estate or Property Management.
Strong portfolio demonstrating video editing and social media management skills.
Advanced knowledge of social media growth strategies and best practices.
Proficiency in video editing tools and content scheduling platforms.
Ability to work independently with minimal training, leveraging existing brand resources.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work PST time zone hours.
Great collaborator as this will be an interactive role for the organization.
Preferred
Experience conducting A/B testing on thumbnails, titles, and video content to optimize performance.
Ability to collaborate with creator to write engaging scripts and create storyboards that align with the brand’s voice and vision.
Experience in managing or mitigating potential issues such as video takedowns, demonetization, or negative audience feedback.
Experience with graphic design and motion graphics.
Knowledge of sound design and audio editing.
Familiarity with YouTube analytics and performance tracking tools.
Experience with live streaming and managing YouTube live events.
