Responsibilities
Identifying highly entertaining videos from our vast library of police videos to utilize for scripted storytelling videos.
Logging raw police footage to identify key moments that tell the story from start-to-finish.
Writing enticing scripts using a combination of raw clips and scripted storytelling.
Writing in a creative manner that convinces viewers to watch a video to the end with a combination of entertainment, education, humor, and other emotions.
Enforcing Law&Crime’s editorial guidelines in your scripts.

Required
Fast scriptwriting turnaround time; Strict adherence to tight deadlines
Experience producing scripted video content; true-crime experience is a plus.
Strong writing creativity and independence.
Ability to log hours of footage into a short-form story.
2 years of professional work experience in related-fields.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Ability to take initiative and act independently and proactively.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Preferred area of study Communication, Film, Journalism, Production, or related field.
Experience and an ability to communicate and work collaboratively with internal and external teams.
Experience in true-crime genres is preferred but not required.
