Vista Viewpoint Application Administrator

Responsibilities
Provide support to employees using Vista construction software by Viewpoint
Diagnose and provide creative, timely, and effective solutions to processing errors
Perform database administration, development, and reporting in Vista
Perform regular maintenance and local configuration of Vista
Guide and create specific Vista reports, processes/workflows, and system modifications to support company objectives
Research, design, and recommend Vista related solutions to senior management based on business or project specific needs; plan the implementation and rollout of the proposed solutions
Assist internal users with questions and problems related to the software
Create and deliver routine and requested reports using Crystal Reports
Responsible for ensuring Vista user and training documentation is created and kept up to date, including procedural manuals, training videos, best practice documents, etc.
Provide expertise to software developers
Provide on-call support and ticket queue resolutions
Perform other work as assigned to ensure the success of the team
Monitor application use to ensure optimal performance
Test the release of product updates to minimize user impact and ensure compatibility
Ability to provide hands-on training and end-user support
Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability
Other duties as assigned

Required
Administrative experience with Vista by Viewpoint is required
Experience with MS SQL reporting tools is required
Experience with Crystal Reports is required
Experience with Vista support is required and a focus in accounting is preferred
Experience with Microsoft Office application usage is required (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting Vista
Intermediate MS-SQL skills
Intermediate knowledge and experience of BI tools including Crystal Reports
Experience handling customer technical support calls
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to actively listen to and understand concerns
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize issues, and monitor and report on progress
Ability to work in a team environment
A self-starter with the ability to fulfill a variety of functions without direct supervision in a dynamic and demanding environment
Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time
Preferred
Experience with Vista support is preferred and a focus in accounting is preferred
Experience with vendor interaction and management is preferred
