Responsibilities
Research and identify grant opportunities that align with FIGCM’s mission, programs, and goals.
Analyze funding requirements to ensure eligibility and alignment with the organization’s strategic priorities.
Draft, edit, and submit high-quality grant proposals that clearly articulate the mission, vision, and objectives of FIGCM.
Collaborate with program staff to gather detailed information about programs, outcomes, and budget needs to create compelling cases for funding.
Ensure proposals are tailored to each funder, addressing their specific guidelines and priorities.
Work with the Finance and Administration team to develop detailed and accurate budgets for grant applications.
Ensure budgets align with funder requirements and demonstrate the financial needs of each project or program.
Prepare and submit timely reports to funders, detailing how funds were used and the outcomes achieved.
Track reporting deadlines and ensure compliance with funder expectations.
Work closely with the Fundraising Manager, Program Managers, and other departments to align grant applications with organizational goals.
Communicate effectively with funders to clarify requirements, address questions, and build relationships.
Maintain a database of grant applications, submissions, approvals, and deadlines.
Monitor the status of submitted grants and follow up as necessary.
Analyze successful and unsuccessful grant applications to improve future submissions.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in grant writing, fundraising, or nonprofit development.
Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise, and persuasive content.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred
Familiarity with donor research tools and grant management software is a plus.
