Responsibilities

Own and drive the core Distribution product architecture & technical vision as it relates to company goals and objectives.

Lead organizational and technological change through inspiration, positive influence, establishing a culture of accountability and effective change management.

Iterate and elevate product development across the Distribution domain ensuring high velocity and quality of engineering output.

Define and enforce standards to ensure the highest levels of quality, performance, scalability, and reliability of the code-base and technical infrastructure

Establish and drive metrics that provide quantifiable evidence of the delivery of key business results and impact of strategic plans and tactical initiatives.

Develop and maintain the technology roadmap and solutions that support Distribution of Thrivent products across sales channels.

Ensure asset health, system stability and availability, performance and recoverability across the internal and external systems and integrations.

Ensure information being administered through distribution systems and fed to Enterprise systems is accurate and in compliance with management guidelines and applicable regulatory agencies (SEC, FINRA).

Partner in the management of all relevant agency and vendor relationships including vendor due diligence, vendor selection, implementation and applicable licensure compliance.

Recruit, develop, and sustain a high-performing team while promoting a culture of shared accountability, operational excellence and partnership across the organization.
