Responsibilities
Lead the design and execution of operating processes and procedures for all payables banking functions, ensuring strategic alignment with business objectives and compliance mandates. Proactively identify opportunities to streamline operations, reduce risk, and enhance efficiency across the payables banking landscape.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all banking partners, overseeing and managing high-level operational relationships. Assist in negotiation and manage of banking agreements, ensuring terms align with the company's strategic and operational goals.
Ensure all Corpay operational practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including anti-money laundering (AML), know your customer (KYC), and other financial regulations. Provide leadership support to the Enterprise Compliance and Audit teams in audit processes and compliance reporting.
Act as the senior authority on all Corpay payables banking processes, offering strategic guidance and expertise to internal teams. Stay at the forefront of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to maintain the company's competitiveness and compliance.
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with payables banking processes. Co-develop and Co-implement a robust risk management framework, including regular reviews and updates of risk policies and procedures.
Lead and mentor a team of 4-7 individuals focused on reconciliation and audit functions. Foster a high-performing, collaborative environment across upstream and downstream process partners, nurturing team growth and engagement.
Set high standards for productivity, performance, and service level adherence, ensuring the team consistently meets and exceeds operational goals.
You have end to end ownership of service of preferred payment modalities. With your deep domain experience in using data and analytics you help Corpay mitigate risk while creating more automation and improve decision accuracy that enable us to grow.
Lead regular reviews of customer (vendor) interactions to ensure process adherence, identify improvement opportunities, and provide coaching and guidance to elevate team performance.
Establish & deliver framework to achieve individual and team goals, focusing on maximizing retained card spend and enhancing performance.
Oversee the analysis of operational metrics, identify trends, prioritize strategic initiatives, and drive continuous improvement efforts across the department.
Implement and uphold rigorous standards, controls, metrics, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance the employee and customer experience at every touchpoint.
Partner with various departments, including Corporate Treasury, to provide strategic reporting, manage banking relationships, resolve inefficiencies, and offer subject matter expertise during user acceptance testing (UAT) for complex projects.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance or related field.
7-10 years of experience in Banking.
Exceptionally strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Data-driven mindset; holds self and others accountable with measurable ROI-oriented KPIs.
Must be detail oriented, with the ability to handle multiple assignments promptly and effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills, conflict resolution, facilitation and consensus building skills.
Embrace and drive change; drive continuous improvement culture.
Effective in building business relationships.
Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex business issues. Proven ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions including recommended solutions.

Demonstrated ability to influence, promote and sell ideas to management, business partners and peers.
Ability to communicate with influence to all levels of leadership to act on complex, technical, or sensitive topics with companywide impact.
Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills required.
Fully proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook);
Develop and maintain complex spreadsheets with advanced formulae.
IT literate with the ability to quickly learn new systems;
Experience with banking systems, payment processing and conducting payment investigations.
Familiarity with Salesforce and creating/manipulating reports within the application.
Familiarity with EFT/ACH/SEPA settlement rules and regulations.
Preferred
Nice to have – understanding SQL coding, PowerQuery
