Responsibilities
Take initiative and be proactive in daily warehouse operations.
Read and understand shop orders and production schedules.
Meet and exceed safety, quality, and productivity expectations.
Identify and separate nonconforming parts.
Report maintenance issues and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
Monitor attendance, attitude, and performance of warehouse staff.
Recommend for hire, promotion, discipline, or release of employees.
Assist Supervisor in directing associates to meet production schedules.
Train new associates on work procedures and job duties.
Promote an atmosphere of continuous improvement within the department.
Work closely with Maintenance Department to maintain machinery and equipment.
Keep records of departmental activities as required.
Perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, bending, and reaching.
Ensure compliance with PPE requirements.

Required
Able to read and understand shop orders, production schedules, and follow written or verbal instructions
Meet and exceed safety, quality, and productivity expectations
Identify and separate nonconforming parts (defective)
Report issues to maintenance as needed and make supervisor aware
Follow all safety rules and regulations, housekeeping (5S) throughout and end of shift
Monitor attendance, attitude, and performance of individuals in their various positions
Recommend for hire, promotion, discipline, or release as needed
Assist Supervisor in directing associates with respect to production volume, quality, and meeting production schedules and delivery dates
Ensure employees adhere to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practice (5S)
Responsible for the training of new associates on work procedures and other job-related duties
Work closely with Maintenance Department to assure that machinery, equipment, and facilities are properly maintained for efficient production
Keep records of departmental activities as required
Must be able to lift 40+ lbs. repetitively
Must be able to stand the entire shift
Position requires bending, stooping, stretching, and reaching
PPE Requirement: safety glasses, safety shoes, and hearing protection
